Welcome, my friends. Today’s episode is one our check-out-what’s-coming-next-season episodes.
It will be short and sweet, but it should also be exciting and encouraging. But before we jump in, I would love to have the opportunity to biblically challenge and encourage you and your community. That’s why AMBrewster Ministries was created. AMBrewster Ministries is the part of Evermind that handles my traveling and speaking opportunities. I love speaking at conferences. In fact, I have the privilege of speaking at River of Life Church in Copenhagen, NY on April 12th and 13th for their upcoming conference entitled “Your Responsibility in this World.” And I’ll be in Vail, AZ, at Vail Valley Baptist Church later this year. But I also enjoy presenting workshops like I’ll be doing in Fort Worth, TX, for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors annual conference. This year I’ll be talking about counseling sorrowing children. And I equally love preaching at camps, for couple’s retreats, for family fun nights, and in Christian schools. So, if you would be interested in inviting me to speak for your event, just visit AMBrewster.com to learn more. And, now let’s peek into our theme for Season 28. Topic
As a biblical counselor, you can imagine that I deal with a lot of broken relationships. Conciliation and reconciliation are both big parts of my ministry—especially in regard to families.
That’s why I’m excited about doing an extended series on Biblical Conflict Resolution. These episodes are going to be similar to what you would hear during a biblical counseling session with me. In a normal counseling session we’d study what the Bible has to say about the subject, and then we would spend a bunch of time practically applying that truth to your life. Since podcasts don’t allow for the personal interaction, we’ll spend our time on the show studying the biblical material, and then if you would then like to reach out for individualized counsel, you’ll already be ahead of the game! We plan to discuss how to prepare for reconciliation, make time for reconciliation, speak for reconciliation, and actually enter reconciliation. I’m really looking forward to this series. I pray that it will not only help you move toward reconciliation with the people in your life, but I also believe it can help you avoid the types of conflict that so often threaten our relationships. I encourage you to invite your children to listen to this series with you because they’re just as much a part of this process as you are. Conclusion
So, Lord willing, that’s what’s in store for Season 28.
But before I sign off for the week, I’d like to remind you that Evermind Ministries is a non-profit ministry that can only provide these free resources as listeners like you donate. We’ve been a non-profit since 2020, and it has been a very challenging 4 years. We praise God for the funds He’s provided, but we’re praying so hard that He will use more and more of you to support this ministry so that we can continue to create these parenting resources. And here’s something really cool. Now that we have the Evermind App, you can skip right over our pay wall when you commit to giving $20 or more a month. As long as you are a monthly giver, you will continue to receive full access to everything on the Evermind App. That includes my new book coming out this year entitled “Quit: God’s cure for family strife.” So, please prayerfully consider how the Lord might use you to help this ministry equip families all over the globe, and be sure to share the Truth.Love.Parent. podcast with your friends. Lastly, don’t forget that you can email [email protected] or call (828) 423-0894 to speak with a biblical counselor about your family struggles. I’ll see you next time as we begin our Biblical Conflict Resolution series.
